Do You Stella?

Michael Ian Black. Michael Showalter. David Wain. Don’t know em? You should. Let me start off by saying that a lot of their work is hit or miss. That is how it is with every comedy that doesn’t have a plot. So make sure that you give them a shot before uhh… shooting them? Pun intended. But, I digress. The comedy trio met back in 1988 at NYU, where they attended college. They have created different TV shows such as "The State" on MTV, and more recently "Stella" on Comedy Central. Once an old sage was asked "In one word, what does Stella mean to you?" The man died seconds after being asked the question, however, I believe that his answer would have been "There is not one word that can describe Stella." I highly recommend that you check out Stella’s Shorts. They made these sketches between 1998-2002, and they are the foundation of the Comedy Central "Stella". These sketches are the uncensored Stella. And we all know that uncensored Stella means the real Stella. These sketches were put out on DVD, however, they aren’t being produced anymore. This is your lucky day, because Collegehumor has put most of the sketches on their website. I put the link below. Oh yeah, if you haven’t seen David Wain and Michael Showalter’s "Wet Hot American Summer," you have got to get on top of that. Like I said earlier, Stella’s humor is a matter of opinion. You will either love em or hate em.
